Henry Lo's Issues
As an involved resident of Rosemead, I am concerned that our city faces many challenges to deliver quality of life services to its residents. We need new leaders to replace the old and make mend of past failed policies in order to build partnerships with the public and private sectors to improve our quality of life. As councilmember, I will work to make Rosemead a place where people can come to as a mainstream destination.
These are my goals for Rosemead:
- Increase stakeholder opportunities to get involved in local policy-making.
- Forge closer cooperation with our local schools, water agencies, utilities and community-based organizations.
- Work to bring in more mainstream retail.
- Improve local transit services to reduce congestion and pollution.
- Expand our recreational services.
I have served our community for ten years as legislative aid and community representative to State Senator Gloria Romero and Boardmember for the Garvey School District since 2003. As Rosemead celebrates its 50th anniversary, we must consider who will lead our city into the future. Please share with me your opinions on how to improve Rosemead by contacting me at (626) 280-4943 or henrylo4rosemead@yahoo.com. I thank you and ask for your vote.
